Treasures IV: American Avant-Garde Film, 1947-1986, released in 2009, features works by Stan Brakhage, Shirley Clarke, Hollis Frampton, Larry Gottheim, Marie Menken, Pat O’Neil, Paul Sharits, and other filmmakers who pushed the boundaries of film as an art form. The 2-disc box set includes music contributed by John Zorn and a book of program notes, with a foreword by Martin Scorsese. It is the first anthology of the period available on DVD.  Like all Treasures sets, it is playable worldwide.
