Grant Winners


The National Film Preservation Foundation offers two types of grants supporting film preservation.

Avant-Garde Masters Grants - Open for registration

These cash preservation grants, made possible through the generosity of The Film Foundation, support laboratory work to preserve significant examples of America's avant-garde film heritage. Archives may register to apply between February 18 and March 31, 2003.

Laboratory Grants - Closed for 2003
2002 winners

These federally supported grants funds for laboratory preservation work on endangered films. Archives may register to apply for Spring 2003 grants between October 28 and December 16, 2002.

Partnership Grants - Closed for 2003
2002 winners

These grants distribute preservation services generously donated to the NFPF by the many laboratories and post-production houses that work in partnership with the archival community. Registration for 2003 will be accepted in Summer 2003.
