San Francisco, CA (June 24, 1998)—In celebration of film preservation, New Line Cinema hosted a benefit premiere of the newly restored GONE WITH THE WIND in June. Proceeds from this special screening of David O. Selznick's 1939 epic were divided among the Academy Foundation, the Film Foundation and the National Film Preservation Foundation—all organizations actively working to save our film heritage. We are honored to be a beneficiary.

The National Film Preservation Foundation salutes New Line Cinema for its commitment to film preservation.
