AT&T stop-motion animation film produced for theatrical release and community group showings. Coming to life from a print advertisement, Tommy Telephone uses magic to produce a telephone. He puts slips of paper representing raw materials into a hopper and grinds out components, which assemble themselves into the complete product to the accompaniment of music.

Note: The Jam Handy Organization made a number of stop-motion animation films in the style of Oskar Fischinger’s short commercial films of the 1930s.
